It’s been a busy week and a lot of things have kept me from cooking and updating this blog, but I’ve finally took some time in order to be able to reach at least five posts a week.
Last “sweet Friday” I couldn’t prepare anything too elaborated, only had time to make a chocolate and banana milkshake with some soy milk, a frozen banana and two tablespoons cocoa powder. The picture is awful, but it was really late when I took it and the light was low.
Today we had curry! I really love curry. I wanted to make it during the week but it was too hot. On Thursday we were 31ºC (around 88F)! But since yesterday temperatures have started to go down, so we cooked this vegetable curry to celebrate. Have I mention that I love curry? We found a restaurant called Taj Mahal in our nearest city and now I can’t wait to go – I hope they have enough vegan options!
Also a new shop that has some interesting vegan options has opened recently and it’s only 5 km from where I live. I went last week and found a new dairy free margarine that I really like, a vegan “nutella” and some vegan chorizo sausages that are delicious. They also have whole earth cola – I hadn’t had cola for a long time and finding this one was great. These kind of things were really difficult to find where I live, so I’m very happy!
